What My Readers Are Saying...
An amazing story... Get the book, you won't regret it!!
By Kitticat (5.0 out of 5 stars)
"This is an amazing story that everyone will relate to. At first glance, this is an account of one woman's medical trials and triumphs, but read further and you get a funny, candid and heartwarming account of experiences we can ALL relate to in one way or another. The author has a way of bringing you into her world and she humbly opens the door to her very personal thoughts. I found at the end of every chapter I just wanted to know what was going to happen next. You can't help but root for her to beat the cancer, get the guy, and have her happily ever after. In addition to telling her story, she takes the time throughout the book to stop and inform us about women's health and advocates for people to take an active part in their health decisions. Get the book, you won't regret it."
Every Woman (and Man) Should Read
"By Joni Smoker (5.0 out of 5 stars)
As a recent 30 year old cervical cancer patient faced with treatment decisions, my husband (found) and put this book in my hands. Selfishly he may have regretted doing this as I wouldn't put the book down or speak one word to him until I was finished. As I read Michelle's story, I couldn't help but feel validated by her thoughts, experiences, and questions. Though I know I'm not alone in my battle against cancer, there are times when you do feel alone and an alien in your own body. Michelle's book reminds me that I am not fighting alone and doesn't spare any of the difficulties she faced in her battle. My battle is just beginning, but I know there is light and the end of the tunnel and I'm better prepared for the journey having read Michelle's book. P.S. My husband subsequently read the book, followed by my mom. Mom is now "ordering" dad to read before they pass the book onto my sister-in-law."

"Every woman should read this book!! I have never had cancer nor have had any medical concerns for it. However, this book gave me a greater understanding of how it can affect you and how to prevent it. Within the first couple chapters, I found myself laughing, crying, and even getting the chills! I now have a greater appreciation for those affected. I highly recommend this book to any woman in your life that you care about!!"

"Bravo to Michelle (Michi!) for telling her story. You find yourself rooting for her on every page. Rooting for her recovery, for her to have her fairytale and to become a mom. Emotional, funny, thought-provoking and oh-so-relatable, this book should without a doubt be on every woman's nightstand."

"I was instantly hooked and loved every page, Michelle takes you on her journey with so many real life moments you just cannot put the book down. "This is a must read!! The author, Michelle Whitlock, has created an excellent avenue to educate EVERYONE on a health issue that affects men and woman. As a father of a 16 year old daughter and a husband of cervical cancer survivor, I could not put this book down. From start to finish, I couldn't wait to turn the next page. Michelle is very candid as she shares her heroin story making the reader anxious for more while making them laugh and cry all at the same time."

"This book took all of 6 sentences to hook me in and all of a Saturday to consume. It was fantastic. Michelle Whitlock has a way of making you feel as though she is talking to you and to you only. She is extremely candid and real in what is a great story through the nightmare of cervical cancer. Great testament of the human spirit and a woman who definitely has a voice that needs to be heard. "This book is entertaining, heartwarming and educational. You don't have to have been touched by cancer to thoroughly enjoy and appreciate this book. Men will also find a window into the world of the women in their lives be it mother, sister, daughter, girlfriend or wife. The author writes so authentically from her experience that you the reader feel it with her. This is NOT a sad depressing story there is a full and rich experience of both fact emotions and humanity in this book. It is worth every penny. It would be an excellent gift as well."
Great, great story -- READ THE 1ST CHAPTER & YOU’RE HOOKED!

"This story is incredible! From the first lines to the last paragraph I was ALL IN. Michelle writes as though she is your best friend sitting across the table from you at happy hour. It is open, honest and filled with emotions and issues that should be shared with all our 'girlfriends'. Pick it up, you won't put it down. Michelle has a one of a kind testimony in kicking the "C" words behind. Read, takes notes and tell a friend to read it, also. If you do not have it, this book WILL make you believe in HOPE."

"I got this book and couldn't put it down! It took me two days to read it. It is an amazing story that takes you, the reader, through all emotions. I laughed, cried, and got angry all within pages. I would recommend this book to anyone! I admire the woman who was able to triumph through the battles of cancer twice, and be a survivor!"

“I’m continually impressed every time I come into contact with you. Not just because you are this obviously ‘awesome author’, but for many other reasons: your talent, creativeness and vulnerability are nothing less than admirable. I loved your book! I laughed; cried, got goose bumps, felt motivated, felt weak…everything a great book should make you feel!”
Page turner, very candid!

“Michelle, your book was amazing! I was so glad to have it for my 4 hour bus ride. Little did I know I wouldn’t be putting it down for the entire ride and then in the cab to finish the last few pages. I laughed and I cried (what a cliché—but it is true)! I think it’s wonderful how candid you were about everything you experienced. I felt like I got a better sense of how my mom was truly feeling by reading your book. You said all the things she was afraid to say, afraid to admit. I feel your book is going to prove to be an amazing tool for young women!”
Blessing in My Life
By Denna (5 out of 5 stars)
“Michelle, I came across you and your book Wednesday night when I was surfing the web. Reading your book has changed my life. It's been extremely difficult emotionally. I felt like people would label me as a whore or something because I had cervical cancer. I downloaded your book late Friday night and just finished it. I couldn't put it down. Even snuck in some reading at work yesterday ;) You're such an amazing, strong woman. I don't really 'know' you of course, but I feel a huge relief knowing how I'm feeling now, someone really understands. I'm sure I will read your book a million more times. I could go on forever, but really I just want to say, thank you. You're a true blessing in my life.”

"I just finished reading your book and it was amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Also, thank you for showing me what my Mom went through. I had tears running down my face as you described your ordeal. This is a MUST read for survivors, caregivers or like Michelle Whitlock says in her book, anyone with a vagina!"
